Why booking credits vs hours?

Well, what works best for your operating plan? With credits, you assign value to each bookable space, ensuring high-demand rooms are used fairly while still providing access to all. It’s a smarter, more equitable way to manage your coworking space.

Offer flexible options – Members can book different rooms based on their needs and remaining credits, giving them more control over their workspace experience.

Simplify management – Easily track and adjust credit allocations to ensure smooth operations and a better member experience.

Encourage fair usage – High-value spaces are booked in proportion to their importance, preventing overuse of premium rooms.

Maximize your revenue – Create structured pricing that reflects the true value of your meeting spaces, increasing efficiency and reducing unused space.

What exactly are booking credits?

Booking credits are a way to let members book meeting rooms without using traditional hourly limits. Instead of getting a set number of hours, members receive credits they can use however they like, based on the credit cost of each room.

How are booking credits different from booking hours?

Think of credits as a flexible currency for booking rooms. Instead of treating all rooms the same, credits let you assign different values to different spaces—so a large conference room might require more credits per hour than a smaller meeting space.

How do members know how many credits a room costs?

When members book a room through the Coworks mobile app, they’ll see the credit cost per hour listed in the room details. This way, they can make informed choices about how they want to use their credits.

Can I set different credit values for different rooms and spaces?

Yes! You decide how many credits each room costs per hour. This lets you fine-tune availability, making sure high-demand rooms require more credits while smaller spaces remain more accessible.

What happens when a member runs out of booking credits?

If a member uses all their credits, they can still book rooms by paying an optional overage fee. By default, 1 credit = $10, but you can set your own pricing structure based on your space’s needs.

How often do booking credits reset?

Credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. If a member has 10 credits per month, they’ll get a fresh 10 credits when their next billing period starts.

Can I change how many credits a member gets each month?

Absolutely! You can assign different credit amounts to different membership plans, so some members get more credits than others based on their plan type.

Where do members see how many credits they have left?

Members can track their remaining credits in the Coworks member app. This keeps things simple and transparent, so they always know how much they can book.

How do I generate reports to see how credits are being used?

Yes! You can download a Booking Usage Report from the Coworks dashboard, showing a full breakdown of how credits are being used across your space.

How do I get started with booking credits in my space?

You can enable booking credits in your Coworks dashboard. From there, you can customize credit values, assign credits to membership plans, and start offering a more flexible booking experience for your members.
