This time last year, I asked, “Remember when most people didn’t know what coworking was?” That was in the weeks before the 2022 Global Workspace Association conference, and here we are, ready to go back!
Once again, Coworks will sponsor the Community Manager of Year awards, and we had the privilege of sharing the nominees' stories right here. And I get to meet them in person, onstage, and award the finalist.
In addition to the general session, this portion of the conference is carefully curated for those who are newer to operations and ownership.
The topics align with what we at Coworks view as the three legs of the stool that is flex and how coworking delivers on the promise of the future of work:
- Community. You and your operation facilitate a culture of productivity as well as networking, engagement, emotional investment, personal and professional growth.
- Collaboration. You align with other local businesses. You connect with other operators, both in your area and around the world. How do you contribute to the overall mission of coworking.
- Convenience. You use technology and automation tools to make your staff’s workload lighter. Your operation continues to anticipate and solve the everyday needs of your members.
And once again, this year’s agenda has portions that speak to the trends of flex offices and the shifting world of commercial real estate.
